Just thought I would share a few snaps with you today. This morning I had a quick session at a local law office. They needed some headshots for their new website and I think that they came out pretty nice!

I am currently working on a wedding I shot last week and today I came across some pictures that almost made me pee my pants. I’ve never worked with a group so willing to do pretty much anything I asked them to. When I asked the boys, “Do you know what jowling is?” they gave me a funny look and said, “No, enlighten us.” After I explained to them the art of jowling, they instantly understand and told me the name they had for it, which I have forgotten. Anywho, it only took one try for me to realize that these guys knew what they were doing. See for yourself, I’m sure you will LOL.

Gotta love the ones who don’t care if it’s pouring down rain! Like it was at this session…

I so enjoyed working with this family. They were so full of life and had a great time even though it was raining pretty hard. Little family, you guys rock! Oh, and by the way! Bree had a baby boy a few days ago! Little Hudson… haven’t seen picture yet, but I’m sure that Jessica Cole will be taking the newborns- check her blog in the next few weeks for the pics.

I cannot even tell you how beautiful I think this shoot is. Our original plan was to head to the mountains to find some snow, but life got in the way and we had to stay local. AND I’M SOOO GLAD WE DID! We shot for about 15 min, which was all we needed. In that short time, we captured what I consider to be very beautiful. Enjoy these pictures Shawn & Natalie. You guys were awesome!

My aunt called me up and wanted some family pictures for Christmas. I was so excited to take them because I think they are a beautiful family and extremely photogenic! I met them in downtown Vacaville. We walked around downtown and through a park and got some great shots! I’m so glad we did this, thanks guys! Love ya!

I think that my aunt and uncle are secretly models. Seriously! Look at them!

My little sister Mady is always interested in what I am doing and she really wanted to come be my “assistant”. I think she did more playing with her cousins than assisting. We’re still working on that…

Yesterday we drove to this amazing waterfall in Washington. We had lunch at the spa/resort that literally sits right on top of the falls. The food was delicious, but check out these shots I got from our hike down to the falls.

Maverick even joined us! He didn’t know what to do with himself with so much space! Mav is a Jack Russell and is probably the best dog I have ever seen. He listens and loves to be with us so much.

The waterfall is pretty stunning from the resort, but when you hike down to the bottom of the falls, it totally blows your mind. You suddenly feel incredibly small and powerless. Watching the water spill over the edge reminded me that my God was SO much bigger than that waterfall and to think that he cared about me enough to give me that enormous waterfall to look at. Amazing.

Before we left, we took some pictures. I hope Steve and Ali use theirs for their Christmas cards!
