Technically I return to the studio tomorrow, but I couldn’t wait to post some shots from the vacation. And what an amazing, relaxing, and PERFECT vacation it was! I spent the majority of my time in Lake Tahoe, California and then flew down to San Diego for a couple days. I decided not to take my camera to SD for some reason and I really wish I would have. Oh well, maybe next time.
First off, when they say, “Keep Lake Tahoe blue” they REALLY mean it! I mean, here is a SOOC (straight out of camera) shot. In fact, most of my lake pics are SOOC.

Seriously? Yeah, seriously.
My friend Jessica has a cabin up there and invited some friends up to spend the week with her and her parents. Here is the motley crew…

You’re probably wondering how I was able to spend a week with three girls. Well, these girls are probably the coolest girls around. All they want to do is have fun and thats all we did! It was good to spend time with them
Except for times like this…

Which quickly turned into this…

Kayla… she has FANTASMIC eyes!

I should work on taking more pictures. We went to South Shore where a ski resort sits but the only pictures I have are these two. Not sure why!

On our way back we drove around Emerald Bay. Gorgeous.

We spent two days on their boat, which was probably the highlight of the trip. Nothing beats sailing on that BLUE water. Here are a million photos from those days.

Here is something I found really amazing. We sailed over to the south part of the lake and found this AMAZING water pattern. This shot is SOOC. It was even more AMAZING in person!!

And of course, without these two, the trip wouldn’t have even happened. Jess’ parents are the NICEST people in the WHOLE world. So glad they spent the time with us!

Well, I believe it is time to jump back into life. I have had a wonderful time away from the hustle and bustle of life and feel refreshed and ready to go. Tomorrow I get to book family sessions and weddings! I’m excited :) Until next time…
